FAQs
Who can apply?
Queer, women, gender expansive, allies and curious are welcome to apply, priority will be given to who hold intersectional identities and participants who can attend the whole program.
I don't have hiking and camping gear.
Open Mountains has outdoor clothing, hiking boots, backpacks, tents, camping stoves, etc that can be used free of charge by participants. We will ensure all participants have the correct gear to safely and comfortably participate in the program.
I don't have a camera to shoot on.
We strongly recommend you bring your own camera. However we will be able to provide 1 -2 participants with a camera if needed.
What if the weather is bad?
Like in any outdoor adventure, we will have to be prepared for anything but we will be flexible with our plans if faced with poor weather such as thunderstorms, etc.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately dogs are unable to participate as we will be in a part of the National Park where dogs are not allowed.
